Vacation is imminent.
Please ignore the black bits on the floor. Our green luggage is reaching the end of its lifespan and everytime I get it out, more plastic crumbles into dust. I haven’t used this wardrobe back since our honeymoon in 2008.
Not a lot to talk about this last week, I did get the Star Wars dress hem pressed and I also made the waist sash. I mostly spent last week making ears.
I made 3 pairs I can’t post yet, they are surprises. I’ll post them in my next post after vacation.
But the 3 above I made for Nana and Kristie – the Winnie the Pooh ears are Nana’s, and how perfect was my leftover Star Trek uniform velour for the bow and band of those? It looks like Pooh’s fur! The other 2 are cute patterns for Kristie. Those took all day Saturday, then Sunday was making 2 more (and the weeknights before that was the other surprise pair)
I’ve not packed at all, but I’m finally done sewing and it’s time to get at it. I’ve really kinda been avoiding it. I usually love packing, but packing also makes me feel anxious and scattered like my brain is being drawn and quartered. I’ve made 2 packing lists so hopefully it all goes smoothly.
It’s just this isn’t a normal disney vacation, it’s a SPECIAL vacation and i have to remember paperwork and stuff, plus it’s a wedding and I have to remember gifts and things I”m bringing for other people, plus I’m taking so many outfits and disneybounds it’s like I’m packing for a con. I just know once I actually get started on it, I’m going to be a mess for a few hours.
For outfits I’m taking:

4. My Padme disneybound
5. My Scarlet Witch disneybound
6. Pirate Ariel
That’s more than I take to some conventions LOL
I did watch the Super Bowl last night for a while. Chase had a heating pad set up in his spot and everytime he’d get up, Luna would steal his spot. Here she is pouting that she had to move again.
I got bored halfway through and went and pressed my hem and made that sash I mentioned earlier LOL
So anyway. I’ll have lots of pics to post next week. I’ll also update the website next week… with new costume pics + the art I’m behind on posting.
